Still from the firm video, filmed in the office at 101 N. Murray Avenue.

Calhoun Pruitt grew up in Anderson and has spent his entire legal career here. He joined the firm his father founded in 1948 and has now practiced for more than five decades, with a focus on trial work in state and federal courts.

His practice covers personal injury, business litigation and family law, along with the broad general practice the firm has always offered. He is admitted to the United States District Court and other federal courts, and to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Calhoun served as president of the Anderson County Bar Association from 2002 to 2003 and serves on the Board of Directors of GrandSouth Bank. Away from the office he is an experienced boater and boat captain and a former Commander of the Lake Hartwell Power Squadron, which gives him a practical understanding of how accidents happen on the water.
