Pruitt & Pruitt, P.A. is a general practice law firm serving the Upstate of South Carolina. We give one-on-one professional counsel and experienced legal guidance to each client, with an emphasis on trial work in all courts and forums.

The firm was started in 1948 by the father of J. Calhoun Pruitt, Jr., who practiced law in Anderson for more than 40 years. Calhoun joined the South Carolina Bar in 1974 and has now practiced here for more than five decades.
In 2013, Joshua B. Raffini, also a lifelong Anderson resident, joined the firm to take part in that tradition. Today the two attorneys handle personal injury, business litigation, family law and a full range of other matters for clients across the Upstate.
Along the way the firm has tried cases in every kind of courtroom, and one of those trials made local history: a $4.125 million personal injury verdict that set the Anderson County record at the time.*
